Where Does Our Sea Buckthorn Come From?
Our fields are all organic certified, as our production and processing unit. The fields are based in Vultureni, Bacau, Romania and have been in place for 30 years.
We produce sea buckthorn on over 30ha, where sea buckthorn is in its native environment.
How can Sea Buckthorn be used?
For centuries Sea Buckthorn has been used in traditional diets and medicines as the berries have a high nutritional value: Vitamins A, B, C, E and K; protein; fibre AND a vegan source of Omegas 3, 6, 7 and 9!
Studies are ongoing about the way Sea Buckthorn can help in the control of free radicals (which may cause cancer), diabetes, promote weight loss, help prevent heart conditions, prevent stomach ulcers and lessen the suffering with IBS when digested.
